Parents and Students
We are excited about the growth in our Advanced Placement classes. Currently we have thirteen AP classes (Biology, US History, European History, Spanish, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Micro Economics, Literature & Composition, Psychology, Studio Art, English, Human Geography) here at Hillcrest High School.
Taking Advanced Placement courses better prepares students for college, helps students acquire sophisticated academic skills, and increases self-confidence in preparation for success in college. Students who take Advanced Placement examinations may receive college credit while in high school. Time and money can be saved in college by doing well on these Advanced Placement examinations. Many colleges will accept a score of 3 or above on the Advanced Placement examinations, in order to provide college credit.
This page will link you to the many resources that we have in place to insure your child success.
If you have any questions about out AP program please contact our assistant principals of teaching and learning Dr. Young email@example.com.
